From the Principal's Desk

On site learning has now resumed and school is operating as normal.
Parents please observe the new procedures for drop off and pick up - non essential visitors are not to enter the school grounds in line with Education Dept guidelines.

Unfortunately, the new Education Department Operations Guide has stipulated some new restrictions that means for the present
time, non-essential visitors are unable to come on site. We are therefore asking for your cooperation to drop and pick up your
children at the front gate, rather than entering the school grounds. At the end of the day, the Foundation to Year Two year levels
will be accompanied by their classroom teachers to the first front gate (closest to the crossing) for dismissal and the stude nts in
Years 3-6 will be dismissed at the gate behind the Multi-Purpose Room (sandpit end). Classroom teachers in older grades will
dismiss older siblings first so that they can meet their younger brother/sister at their classroom door, and they can exit to gether
through the first gates. The teachers will wait at the gates until all children have been safely handed over to parents – Foundation
and 1/2 students in particular. Parents and carers are required to wear face masks and to ensure they are social distancing whilst
waiting for their children at the end of the day. Please also respect our crossing supervisor, by ensuring you are following these
processes. Hopefully, these procedures will only be in place for two weeks when Daniel Andrews announces some further lifting
of restrictions (fingers crossed!!).

Kind regards
